Driver Distractions

Well, Since the recent string of transportation crashes due to texting and other distractions, The Federal Government has called a summit on the issue. I've seen blogs and online articles on this matter, but the fact still remains, that drivers have more things to distract them then ever before. Yes I talk on the phone when I drive, but I don't text. We all have been guilty of some kind of distraction. The problem is how to keep in touch and informed while spending your day on the road. If we all stopped to talk on the cell, then most drivers wouldn't make any money. There needs to happy medium, but what? How can we as drivers still make the miles and still do the things needed on the phone? So, with that being said, what do you think? I really don't know where the best position is, but one needs to be found, before they not allow any at all. Let me know what you think.
